We all have crazy paths to where we are now.
Before I started my own business, I worked at four major banks in Canada, initially as a part-time teller, then as a manager, as one of a divisional management team, and finally as a regionally assigned financial planner.
And while banks are all different in many ways, they also have many similarities.
It’s why I stepped away from them.
Which led to another epiphany: that I really enjoyed helping doctors. Why?
Because doctors’ lives and businesses have many moving parts, they need someone to make their financial lives easier, not harder—and without constant upsells.
So, after much reflection, I left the work of banking to put doctors at the centre of everything I do.
And I haven’t looked back since.
