About Me

I first started riding about 3yrs ago in grade 9 as a MTB rider in the Ontario Cup series.  After a season with some success, I quickly realized fitness was an issue so I started to ride road as a fitness builder, after a number of months I made a jump from MTB to road (just too many crashes in the woods).  So, I started on the Youth Cup road series and performed well winning a number of races and finishing my final season as champion and was hooked on Road.

Having a passion for sports has been with me for as long as I can remember with cycling and Lacrosse at the top.  It became apparent a choice needed to be made, I can do both or do one very well so I made a commitment to cycling.

After riding the trainer for some time as a winter ritual I was asked if I wanted to go to London and ride the Velodrome, this sounded pretty intriguing besides it had to be better than riding in front of the TV!  I was introduced to Rob Good and Forest City Velodrome and after 1 night of Sat racing I was hooked.  I have been riding under Rob Good’s direction and training ever since and represented Canada for Track
